Sheet Harbour Chamber of Commerce and Civic Affairs
P. O. Box 239
Sheet Harbour, NS

In 2013 the Marina Committee of the Sheet Harbour and Area Chamber of Commerce was established to begin the third phase that was identified in the Sheet Harbour Waterfront Development Report prepared by Ekistics Planning 2008. Since then, the Committee has been trying to find a suitable site. In late February 2017, the Committee received notification that a lease agreement with Millbrook First Nations will be enacted for one-half of the Millbrook wharf and one-third of the building, located on Church Point Rd., Sheet Harbour.
Provincial Waterfront Development suggested in 2015 that, in the interim, the Committee should install moorings to encourage boat traffic to moor in the Harbour and discover the surrounding beauty and amenities of the area. An application was made to the Department of Natural Resources in January 2016, to install 6 moorings in Sheet Harbour for transient boaters. We are please to tell you that the Moorings are now installed. TRANSIENT USAGE IS FREE. Please come and visit.
Sheet Harbour is a community on the Eastern Shore of approximately 1300. We have many amenities: grocery store, bank, credit union, hospital and emergency services, public library, gym, motels, restaurants and a pub, RCMP, service stations, hardware store, massage therapy, churches and halls, gift shops, retail stores, Laundromat and the NSLC. But the attributes of the deep-water harbour with pristine shorelines that are sheltered from the weather, along with neighboring harbours and the many islands to discover, invite all boaters to experience the best of boating.
Map boards, showing a legend that lists services, are located at the East and West receiving wharves to point you in the right direction. Check on VHF Channel 6 (local boaters) if you have any questions on your way in. Attached you will find the general setup and coordinates for a reference point.
